Shanghai Diary: The Bus Tour

Now begins a few picture dumps of all the things we've been up to since Andrea's been in town...

Saturday:
We took a bus tour of a slice of Puxi and a sliver of Pudong. It was a little colder than we would have liked (esp. sitting in an open-top bus going across a bridge from Pudong to Puxi).

We got out at one point and went to the top of the Jin Mao tower.

The bridge corkscrews around three times up and three times down to save on space.

We got out near the end of the day and went by Yu Gardens. We didn't go into the gardens themselves but to some of the shopping around it. I didn't take a picture but at one point the people were just one big mass. It felt like there were a few thousand folks all in one block. I might be exaggerating but I don't think so.

That night we went to The Bund and met up with my coworker Emily and her family for dinner at Lost Heaven -- a restaurant that celebrates the many cuisines found along the Silk Road.
